| The Water Utilities Office is open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This division is responsible for managing the utility billing for water, sewer, solid waste and recycling services. Bedford bills over 14,000 utility accounts monthly. The city contracts with Allied Waste Services for collection of solid waste and recycling, and provides consolidated billing for these services with the customer's water and sewer bills. |

Payment terms are:
Payments will be considered past due if they have not been received in the Customer Service Office by 5:00 p.m. on the due date printed on the bill.
If payment has not been received by the due date printed on the original bill, one Delinquent Notice will be mailed.
If full payment has not been received in the Customer Service Office by 5:00 p.m. on the due date printed on the Delinquent Notice (or approved payment arrangements have not been made) utility service will be terminated on the next business day.
